Expert Heating System Installation in Mesa, AZ

AXIS Air Conditioning provides heating system installation for Mesa homes, covering heat pumps, gas furnaces, and ductless systems sized to fit your specific floor plan. Mesa sits in IECC Climate Zone 13, where winters are mild but overnight lows in the low 40s are common from November through March. A system that is not sized correctly for your home will short-cycle, waste energy, or fail to keep up on the coldest nights. We start with an in-home assessment to measure your space, check existing ductwork, and review insulation before recommending any equipment. Every installation follows Arizona mechanical code requirements. Once the system is in place, we test airflow, verify refrigerant charge on heat pump installs, and walk you through thermostat settings before we leave. If your current heater is aging, running unevenly, or driving up your SRP or APS bills, call AXIS Air Conditioning to schedule your heating installation assessment in Mesa today.

Heating System Installation FAQ

Common questions about heating system installation in Mesa, AZ.

A system that is over 15 years old and needs a major repair is usually a better candidate for full replacement in Mesa. Steadily rising winter energy bills and uneven heat across rooms are two clear signs a new installation makes more financial sense.

Yes, a heat pump is well-suited to Mesa because winters are mild and overnight lows rarely drop below freezing for extended periods. Heat pumps handle both heating and cooling in one unit, which reduces equipment costs and simplifies maintenance.

We assess your home's square footage, insulation, and existing ductwork before recommending any equipment. Proper sizing through a load calculation prevents the comfort and efficiency problems that come from installing a system that is too large or too small.

Clear a path to your existing air handler, furnace, or outdoor unit so our technicians can work safely and efficiently. If you have pets, securing them in a separate room during the visit helps keep the work area clear.

Yes, correct system sizing and a ductwork inspection during installation directly address hot and cold spots in Mesa homes. Leaky or undersized ducts are a common cause of uneven heating and are best corrected at the time of installation.

Yes, we install ductless mini-split systems for Mesa homes that lack existing ductwork or need heating added to a specific room or addition. Ductless systems allow for zoned control, so you only heat the spaces you are actively using.

Axis Air Conditioning did an outstanding job from start to finish. From the initial quote appointment to the final installation, the entire process was smooth, professional, and stress-free. Their customer service was excellent, and they took the time to answer all of my questions thoroughly. The installation crew was extremely respectful and detail-oriented. They made sure to protect the house by laying down floor coverings and keeping everything clean throughout the entire installation. Their workmanship was very thorough, and you can tell they truly care about the quality of their work. I could not be more satisfied with the experience and the final result. I highly recommend Axis Air Conditioning to anyone looking for a new AC system or HVAC work. I will definitely be referring friends and family to them in the future.

I can’t recommend axis air enough! After another company came out and gave me a β€œmaybe this is the solution” diagnosis, Blake and the boys came out for a second opinion and did a thorough job til they found the answer and showed me the issue in detail. They offered both a repair or replacement and shared their recommendations without pressure. Today, we had them replace the entire unit and they did a fantastic job. The air is blowing cold again and the install was quick and efficient. Great job all around πŸ‘πŸ‘
